is located near the small town of Bohinjska Bistrica,
only 30 minutes away from Lake Bled.

Bohinj is part of the Triglav National Park,
named after its tallest mountain, Triglav.

Bohinj had cheaper prices and more swim areas compared to Lake Bled.
It also hosted a variety of activities including a journey by cable car to the top of Mount Vogel, rafting down the Sava river, or hiking to the Savica waterfall.
After a few hours of kayaking and some much needed iced coffee,
we took the scenic drive back to Ljubljana.
