What is included in admission?
- Upon admission you will be given a wristband with a chip in it that allows you to enter the blue lagoon, access your locker, and purchase drinks.
- Lockers are included in the price of admission, but are not large enough for suitcases. Luggage lockers can be rented at an additional cost.
- Towels can be rented at the blue lagoon or you may bring your own.
- Vanity stations and hairdryers are available in the female locker rooms.
What should I bring?
- Bathing suit
- Towel (if you do not wish to rent one)
- Waterproof camera
What is the proper bathing etiquette?
- Take off your shoes before entering the changing room and put them on the rack outside or put them in your locker
- Everyone must shower without their bathing suit on before entering the lagoon. There are private shower stalls with frosted glass for privacy. The showers have shampoo/shower gel and conditioner.
- Leave conditioner in your hair or tie it up before entering the pool to prevent the water from drying out your hair.
- After showering, towels must go in the cubbyholes associated with your locker number before exiting the shower room to the blue lagoon.
Any additional tips?
- Enter the lagoon via the wading pool located indoors. It leads to the outdoor lagoon allowing you to stay in the warm water rather than walking outside in the cold.
- You can make face masks out of the silica mud available around the edges of the pool.
- The wooden boxes located around the blue lagoon are where the new hot water enters the pool. These will be the warmest areas in the pool.
