- SL Access Card
- The card itself costs 20 SEK, then you may add tickets or travel cards
- Cards and credit or "reskassa" (100 SEK min.) can be added to your SL Access Card at SL Access vending machines, at SL Center, and at ticket barriers in the Metro and at commuter rail stations.
- SL tickets sellers are clearly marked with a blue flag with an SL logo. Available at most Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven stores across the city.

- Using the same SL Access Card for more than one person can get tricky, so you may want to purchase one for each person to simplify traveling.

You will not be able to tap the card multiple times to deduct the fare, so don't attempt to tap your card until the transit officer tells you to.

- Best for those that plan to occasionally use public transportation.
- The SL system is divided into 3 zones: A, B, and C.
- Tickets are valid for the number of zones you have paid for and you may travel until the ticket expires. The final change/transfer must be made before the ticket expires.
- Tickets for all 3 zones are valid for 2 hours. Tickets for 1 or 2 zones are valid for 75 minutes.
- Available from ticket machines, the SL center, and ticket agents. Tickets cannot be purchased on board the bus
- Single (1 zone) ticket = 36 kr
