• Best weather for fjords and the mountains, glaciers etc.
• May-early June tends to be low/shoulder season,  dry, good weather and minimal crowds

July - Aug

• Best weather for fjords and the mountains, glaciers etc.
• Midnight sun in early July
• Peak season is in July and August, prices increase, Norway in a Nutshell is crowded
• Norwegian vacation month is in July
  
• British and Southern Europeans visit Scandinavia in August

September - October

• Norwegian schools close down for "fall vacation" around September/October
• September is the shoulder season, occasionally has good weather and minimal crowds

November-December

• Tromso for Northern Lights, dog sledding
• Winter weather is cold and dreary, fjord towns shut down, days are short
